Alumni Luncheons

The Foundation hosts two luncheons per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The spring 2017 luncheon was held on May 10th.

This spring's luncheon featured two additions to the Wall of Honor. Bill Siegmann ('61) died in 2013 after a life in the Arts. Hassan Mead ('07) was born in Somalia and went on to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. For more information on these individuals, check out the Spring Newsletter.

Each features a guest speaker - but more importantly, the chance to meet up with old classmates and enjoy conversation over a meal.

Although we call the luncheon a fund-raising event, we really just hope to break even financially. The luncheons are primarily about renewing old friendships and making new ones. And, of course, keeping up-to-date with the Foundation and South High through the speakers.

The next luncheon will occur in the spring of 2017. Details will be posted here.

We hope to see you at the next luncheon!

We depend on volunteers to coordinate the luncheon. Visit the Opportunities page if this interests you! This luncheon's volunteer team was led by Judy Jungwirth with help from

And thanks to Bob Rasmussen and Brian Joyce for selling South apparel at the luncheon!
