2012-2013 Board Members
The voting members of the Friends of South High Foundation board are elected annually at the Members meeting in May. All current members of the Foundation are encouraged to attend and get involved. You do not need to be an alum of South High to be a member OR to serve on the board. Want to be involved but not necessarily as a board member? Join one of our committees.
The board consists of a minimum of four (4) and a maximum of fifteen (15) voting positions. In addition to the elected officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary), positions include four (4) general or at-large directors, elected or appointed, and the chairs of the Standing Committees (Finance, Communications, Membership, Strategic Planning, Fundraising, Grants, and Scholarships).
Elections are held at the Annual Meeting in May.

Strategic Planning
Review current programs and activities. Identify areas for improvement and work to develop strategic enhancements, with the affected committees. Temporary Chair: Harold Benson 952-920-3743
Finance

Fundraising

Communications

Review funding requests and determine awards, on behalf of the board. Chair: Harold Benson 952-920-3743
Scholarships
Annual review of scholarship applications, determination of awards on behalf of the board. Maintain contact with recipients and ensure requirements are met. Work with South High Counseling. Chair: Elmer Koch, 952-888-7321
