The Foundation’s Fundraising

The Foundation must, of course, raise funds before it distributes them!  It does this through one primary funding streams - your contributions!

  • Unrestricted contributions
  • Restricted contributions

As you can see from the chart below, contributions constitute over 60% of the Foundation's income.

In addition, the Foundation is occasionally the recipient of grant money from outside sources.

Events

Typically, the Foundation sponsors a limited number of events each year. These include two alumni luncheons, a pancake breakfast, and the golf tournament.

Merchandise Sales

Merchandise such as sweatshirts, hats, and fleece vests is sold at the Foundation's events. In addition, it is sold on the first and third Wednesdays of the month - for several hours around the lunch hour - in the South High School Commons.
