Alumni Luncheons

The Foundation hosts two luncheons per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The next luncheon?

Our Fall Luncheon will be back at the Bloomington Event Center at 1114 Americn Blvd. West, in Bloomington on Wednesday, October October 11th. Social hour at 11:00 with lunch being served at noon. Choose between chicken chardonnay with rice, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, or a vegetarian meal. A dinner roll comes with any entrée.

Cost: $22 in advance only

This time there is no provision for walk-ins, so be sure to register in advance!

There will be a registration form in the fall newsletter. You can also print one out using the instructions below. Or you can register online using the instructions also below. Note that reservations are due by September 28.

We now offer two ways to register for the Alumni Luncheon:

1. Online.  Click here to register online. Note that you will be taken to a website which is external, but linked, to the Foundation website. There you will be able to indicate the number of people you are registering for, menu preferences, and your credit card information. Soon afterward, you will receive two emails: one confirming your registration and a second confirming your payment.
2. By mail. Click here to open the registration form. Then print it out, complete it, and mail it in with your check. Reservations are due by September 28.

Generally speaking ...

Each luncheon features a guest speaker - this time it will be Hennepin Country Sheriff Dawanna Witt '92 - but more importantly, the chance to meet up with old classmates and enjoy conversation over a meal.

Although we call the luncheon a fund-raising event, we really just hope to break even financially. The luncheons are primarily about renewing old friendships and making new ones. And, of course, keeping up-to-date with the Foundation and South High through the speakers.
