The South High Wall of Honor
Starting in 2003 and each year since, the Board has determined whether the time has come to honor members of the South High community. Those so honored have a plaque mounted on the wall in the Commons area of the school.
Note that those honored do not need to be alumni of South High. Rather they are people who have significantly given back to the community in one way or another. Those honored in the past do include former students, but also staff members.
As you can see from the photos above, the honorees have a range of accomplishments.
The Wall of Honor Committee reviews nominations for this award and those selected for this honor are presented with a plaque at the Spring Alumni Luncheon.

The Mission of the Friends of South High Foundation: provide financial assistance and support for programs at South High School that directly enhance the students’ overall high school experience by enriching their academic, cultural and extracurricular experience; and to support and enhance their ability to further their education.
